The Challenge

The property is a 2 story row home. The home owner has had ice damming in the past so they booked an attic and exterior assessment of their property. The Roofing Specialist Team found that there was inadequate ventilation, exposed nails, no drip edge, and the wrong bathroom vents were installed. They were also experiencing some buckling in certain spots on their roof.

The Solution

The customer was quoted for installing Maxi vents and a ridge vent, opening up the soffits and installing baffles as well as correcting the bathroom vents. The quote was accepted and we went through the step by step process of improving the ventilation of the house. We also ended up installing new downpipes to help relieve the water from the main roof as well as installing new gutter filter in the eavestrough to help filter the water and ice in the winter.
