The Challenge

The Client approached Mr. Roof Repair with concerns about a leak coming from their skylight.

The Solution

Mr. Roof Repairs Roofing Specialist (RS) Team determined that the caulking around the skylight flashing had failed. The weather stripping on the skylight had also come loose and was now trapping water between the glass. The flashing appeared to have been sealed multiple times previously.

As a temporary measure, the RS team applied a seal to the flashing in an attempt to stop the leak. However it was recommended that the skylight be replaced as a more permanent, long-term solution. A quote was provided to this effect.
