The Challenge

The Client contacted Mr. Roof Repair to check out a few issues:

  • The balcony at the front of the home appears to be leaking during heavy wind-driven rains
  • The troughs at the back of the house have issues when the snow is melting
  • The chimney leaks when the snow melts

The Solution

Mr. Roof Repair’s Roofing Specialist (RS) Team assessed the roof and found:

  • The eavestrough are starting to leak at the corners and seams
  • The vents were installed too low from the ridge and there is inadequate air intake because the soffits are blocked by brick construction
  • The flat roof is not bolted to the wall and is now pulling away from the structure. There are major cracks where water is leaking in
  • The front flat roof is experiencing major ponding which is putting a strain on the seams and could lead to future leaks
  • The door frame is open and the wood is exposed allowing water to enter
