The Client contacted Mr. Roof Repair to get an in-depth look at their roof to get an idea on the health and life of their entire roof. Also, the Client has a leak in the back addition that they would like investigated.
Mr. Roof Repair’s Roofing Specialist (RS) Team investigated and found that the shingles on the mansard wall of the back dormer are in bad shape and need to be replaced in the immediate future. The flat membrane that the previous roofers have installed is improper. They have ended it short in all the problem areas where it should be run up the wall and under the shingles. The neighbour’s wall also has shingles that are in very bad shape and there are many areas where water is getting in and able to leave behind the Client’s flashing. This is the main cause of the leak in the back room.
