The Client contacted Mr. Roof Repair for a full roof assessment. They were experiencing a leak and needed to know where it was coming from.
The Roofing Specialist (RS) Team determined there were four main areas of the roofing system that had issues. The ventilation system was suffering as a result of inadequate air intake and the exhaust vents were placed too low from the ridge line to effectively draw the hot air out of the attic space. The shingles on the back slope were in poor condition and needed to be replaced as they were curling, cracking and balding (granular loss). There was a big hole in the flat roof and another large hole where the flat roof meets the shingles. the flat roof membrane had also lost its seal at the drip edge and at the seams. Finally, the flashing on the roof was inadequate. There were areas that were missing the flashing and other areas where the flashing had holes in them.
