Holes through shingles to roof deck on upper roof.

The Challenge

The Client approached Mr. Roof Repair because they have a leak near their chimney and requested a full roof assessment to determine any other issues that may exist.

The Solution

Mr. Roof Repair’s Roofing Specialist (RS) Team performed a full roof assessment and identified the following issues:

  • The eavestrough are torn and split and there is a downpipe draining onto a lower roof
  • The ventilation system is suffering as a result of inadequate air intake and exhaust
  • The shingles have started to crack and go bald (granular loss)
  • The chimney needs to be re-flashed because it was only done with shingles which is incorrect, it should be metal flashing
