The Challenge

The Client approached Mr. Roof Repair with concerns about a leak at the ridge of the roof. She also asked if we could clean the eavestrough onsite.

The Solution

Mr. Roof Repair’s Roofing Specialist (RS) Team discovered that there is a major deterioration of the shingles throughout the entire roof but more so on the back slope. The deterioration, balding, curling and cracking is right through to the roof deck. That is what is causing the leak. The roof needs to be replaced in the near future. As a temporary measure, the RS Team installed a tarp to try and stop the leaking until the roof can be replaced.

The RS Team also found that the chimney flashing was not sealed in one area and the plumbing stack collar was chewed through the collar by an animal so they sealed around those areas. Finally, they cleaned out the eavestrough per the customer’s request.
