The Challenge

The Client contacted Mr. Roof Repair because they just purchased the home and were told by the inspector that they have some missing shingles on the roof but may require a new roof soon. They wanted a comprehensive look at the roof to understand its current state.

The Solution

Mr. Roof Repair’s Roofing Specialist (RS) Team performed a full assessment of the roof and found the following issues:

  • There are only two vents installed on the roof and one of them is installed too low to effectively draw the hot air out of the attic space
  • The deterioration of the shingles is occurring throughout the roof. The left side of the home is in the worst shape. The shingles are balding and cracking and there are some missing shingles. The roof has three layers of shingles so even with the deterioration and missing shingles, the Client is not currently getting any leaks.
  • The flashing on the chimney was done poorly and should be addressed when the roof is redone
