The Client approached Mr. Roof Repair with concerns about a leak occurring in their property.
Upon inspection, Mr. Roof Repairs Roofing Specialist Team determined that the shingles on the rear slope of the roof are in very poor condition, and this has been causing internal leaks. The shingles are curling, cracking and balding (granular loss). The cap shingles are deteriorating and there are some missing shingles on the roof. The shingles on the front slope are in slightly better shape, however they are nearing the end of their lifespan as well.
During the assessment, it was also noted that an improper bathroom vent had been installed. This vent was spilling moisture back into the attic space, instead of removing it.
Per the Clients request, a tarp was not installed over the leak area. However, it was still recommended that the roof be replaced as soon as it was possible, and the bathroom vent was to be replaced a the same time. A quote was provided to this effect.
