The shingles above the front porch have an abundance of holes and should be replaced.

The Challenge

The Client approached Mr. Roof Repair to report that they had some shingles lift, but not blow off of their roof.

The Solution

Mr. Roof Repairs Roofing Specialist Team determined that the shingles on the lower roof were lifting as a result of deterioration. The shingles were curling, cracking and balding (granular loss), and the state of the shingles had allowed their seals to fail.

It was suspected that the condition of the roof was likely due to the fact that the lower roof was never ventilated properly. Hot air rising from the attic space below had allowed the shingles to deteriorate prematurely. It was recommended that the lower portion of the roof be replaced as soon as it was possible. A quote was provided to this effect.
