The Challenge

The customer had an ice dam leak at the rear of the home. The leak appeared through a pot light in the master bedroom.

The Solution

The Team cleared away the ice dam at the back of the home. During the inspection, they discovered that there were two vents (bathroom and dryer) that were exhausting into the attic space causing icicles to build up inside the actual attic space. They quoted the replacement of the vents with new insulated hoses and flapper vents as well as to relocate the bathroom vent that was causing the ice damming in the first place.
