The customer called in because their eavestrough had pulled away from the home. Although the homeowners hoped that brackets could be used to simply reconnect the eavestrough, when the Roofers arrived they found that the trough was bent and damaged beyond repair. It was an older 4” eavestrough that was fastened with spikes. They also found that improper bathroom vents were installed and there were exposed nails through all the vents and flanges. Quotes were provided for the work.
The entire home received new eavestrough and downpipes. We also installed a bathroom vent where there was currently an attic vent that was not exhausting the moisture outside the attic. When not corrected, mold can grow from the condensation as well as attic leaks can occur. The Roofers also performed a roof tune up including sealing all exposed nails, hip seams and flashing.
