The Challenge

The Client approached Mr. Roof Repair because at the rear of the house there is a downspout and trough that needs some work. The water seems to travel over the edge of the trough and doesn’t make its way into the downspout.

The Solution

Mr. Roof Repair’s Roofing Specialist (RS) Team found that the eavestrough and downpipe on both sides of the front dormer needed to be replaced. They also recommended installing custom flashing over the fascia wood located at the bottom of the front gables. During their inspection, the RS Team also found that there is no eavestrough currently installed on the upper front dormer so all the water from the entire side is directed towards the catwalk and is cascading over the fascia which is causing the wood to wear. Also, the flat membrane along the gable on the flat roof had lost its seal in multiple areas. A quote was provided to correct these issues and work commenced.
